Starter

Thai Style Fishcake, Coriander Coleslaw, Tomato, Lime & Coconut Sauce
This dish is taken from the original fish cake idea and then I have added some of my favourite spices and herbs: Coriander, Ginger, Chilli, Lime Zest and Spring Onion.
The Coriander Coleslaw is a twist on a classic and the sauce complements the whole dish with the subtle flavour of coconut and the hint of acidity from the tomato.... Lovely!

Refreshingly aromatic with hints of apricots & peaches and a crisp dry finish. The viognier grape complements any food that is at all spicy. The aromatic style cuts through the spicy flavours and the dry finish leaves the palate refreshed.

Main

Steak & Chips – Rib Eye of Beef cooked Medium Rare seasoned with Rock Salt and Rosemary Oil, Slow Roasted Vine Tomato with Thyme and Garlic and Chunky Homemade Chips.
This has to be one of my favourite dishes.... nothing beats a perfectly cooked steak, seasoned well and rested so it’s tender and succulent. Soft, sweet, Roasted Vine tomato flavoured with Thyme and Garlic and to finish it off chunky homemade chips that are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle....pure heaven!

Big & rich with red berry aromas on the nose & the palate and a full flavoured creamy textured finish. The big, rich, flavours work well with any red meat dish.

Dessert

My World Famous Sticky Toffee Pudding with Salted Toffee Sauce and Cornish Clotted Cream.
Say no more! This is the ultimate pudding. The salted toffee sauce is unusual but amazing! The salt brings out the natural taste of caramel and makes the sauce into something very special but it’s there as a catalyst - you cannot taste the salt at all! The Cornish clotted cream is something close to my heart, as I am from Cornwall and actually when I was training as a chef I used to live next to the creamery where it was made!

Late harvest Moscatel

Sweet & luscious, honey, sweet apricots on the nose, however not too sticky in the mouth with a little freshness on the finish.
As this wine is not too full in the mouth, it is great with most types of sweet pudding.
