This is our richest day's racing of the year with the feature race, the £60,000 totesport.com National Spirit Hurdle, a recognised trial for races at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals. The David Pipe trained ultra tough Lough Derg has won the last two runnings of this prestigious race - so can he make it three in 2010? There will be a big screen at this meeting to enhance your viewing of the racing action. There will also be a range of countryside activities including a demonstration of birds of prey, pet's corner, children's farm and a parade of hounds. Admission is £17 if booked before the race day and all advance bookers will receive £10 worth of Tote discount bets. On the day admission is £20. You can also spend the afternoon in the company of TV racing presenter John 'Big Mac' McCririck - for details see the 'Offers and Packages' section of this website. Hospitality packages start from just £80 per head plus VAT - see the 'Raceday Hospitality' section of our website for further information. The gates open at 12 noon. Car parking is free of charge in the main public car park. Parking is also available in the centre of the course for a fee of £5 per car (in addition to the cost of admission for the occupants). The centre course entrance is via Denmans Lane just off the eastbound carriageway of the A27 next to the course. There is a race day bus service from Barnham Station to the course for a return fare of just £2.
